Lattice Distortion of Nano-Ag Powders

Using X ray diffraction and electron diffraction,the characteristic of lattice structure of nano Ag powders have been studied in this paper.By measuring the lattice parameters of nano Ag particles of different diameter,the lattice shrinkage was found,and the shrinkage quantity is in direct proportion to the reciprocals of particle diameter.On the basis of the other researcher′s valuable results,the entropy deciding the lattice shrinkage or lattice expansion of nanostructured materials was presented,and the related results were also discussed.
