The Design and Application of Multi-Channel Salinity Measurement System

Salinity is a very important parameter,in thermal power plant and nuclear power plant.It is necessary to online measure multiple points of salinity,and meanwhile to reduce the influence of the measuring instruments on the measured fluid flow field.At present,the salinity measuring instruments usually functions for single point measurement,and the size of detection electrode is large,affecting the hydro-thermal characteristics,which can not meet the requirements of scientific research and experiments.To solve these problems,we proposed a salinity measurement method base on full-wave sampling,optimized the structure and size of detecting electrodes,designed a detection system that can measure 96point salinity simultaneously,and designed a host computer application software,by which measurement data can be transmitted to the computer in real-time and saved for future data analysis.The experimental results show that:the system opecated stably,with high precision,the impact on hydro-thermal characteristics was smaller.The system has a high application value.
