Study on Elastoplastic Seismic Performance of Isolators Technology on Three-dimensional Steel Arch-truss

A structure system of 60mthree-dimensional steel arch-truss was chosen as the study object and two kinds of models of ordinary fixed hinge bearing and isolator were built to make a dynamic elastic-plastic analysis under the effect of seismic wave by SAP2000 software as well as plastic hinge theory.In the analysis,influences of both material and geometric nonlinearity were taken into consideration.The displacement response,distribution of the plastic hinge,deformation,failure form and ductility coefficient of structure were obtained.Ultimate bearing capacity,and the type of failure and deformability were evaluated.The result shows that under the same steel amount,the peak acceleration of the failure limit of the isolator with lead-rubber bearings is 59.4%higher than that of the primary structure;the failure damage type of both ordinary fixed hinge bearing and isolator is elastioplastic dynamic buckling failure,the amount of member bar which appears plastic hinge is fewer while the distribution is even when two kinds of models reach the failure limit under the effect of seismic wave;two kinds of models both have certain ductility on two main stressed directions,however,the absolute deformation is smaller before they lose efficacy and the omen is indistinctive before they are damaged.
