Reactive Power Optimization in District Power Networks

In this papar,the reactive power optimization of district power networks is analised and calculated by using nonlinear programming optimal power flow method.An approach of changeable step size is used for improving convergence and advancing computation speed.The approach was used in the program of district power network reactive power optimization.The results of calculation show that the algorithm and program is effective and practical.
