INFLUENCES OF Li_2O ON ACIDITY AND MCH DEHYDROGENATION PERFORMANCE OF Pt-Sn/γ-Al_2O_3 CATALYST

The influences of Li 2O on the acidity and MCH dehydrogenation performance of industry Pt Sn/ γ Al 2O 3 catalyst are studied by pyridine IR, adsorption and desorption of NH 3 ,thermogravimetry(TG) and MCH dehydrogenation. The results show that almost all of the acid sites on the surface of the industry catalyst are Lewis type. The total number of acid sites, especially the number of acid sites with strong acidity and the rate of carbon deposition on the surface of Pt Sn/ γ Al 2O 3 catalyst decrease will Li 2O content increasing. The dehydrogenation catalyst has the best stability at Li content for 0.4w% in the condition: 0.12MPa, 500℃,WHSV=6h -1 ,pure MCH feed.
