GUO Ke-lei;School of Physical Education & Training,Shanghai University of Sport;Department of Physical Education,Xianyang Normal University;
The author summarized and reviewed existing teenager sport research achievements in terms of method, perspective, theory and content, so as to examine existing teenager sport research achievements, and to guide the direction of further teenager sport research. The research results indicated that teenager sport research had made many achievements, which had established a solid foundation for the development of teenager sport work, but it also had the following deficiencies: 1)lacking in a holistic view or a system view; 2)insufficient research at the microscopic level; 3)qualitative research methods with a field paradigm were not valued; 4)disciplinary orientation standardizing research perspectives needed to be expanded; 5)the building and developing of theories about teenager sport itself were inadequate. Accordingly, the author proposed that for future teenager sport the researchers should strengthen holistic and systematic research, value the application of qualitative research methods, and focus on the intrinsic mechanism of teenager sport operation.
