Research Review,Applications Status and Technology Bases of Bearingless Motors

ZHANG Han-nian1,LIU He-xiang2 (1.School of Electronic and Information,Nanjing College of Information technology,Nanjing 210046,China;2.School of Electrical Engineering,Southeast University,Nanjing 210096,China)  
The advantages and the basic structures of bearingless motors were summarized,moreover,presented the developments of research in detail.In addition,the application fields of bearingless motors were discussed,such as biologic engineering,semiconductor industries,food chemical engineering,flywheel energy storage,and so on.In the end,some related technologies of bearingless motor drives were overviewed.
