The Study of Noise Reduction for SAR Image

Fang Shenghui Shu Ning Wu Zhaocong (School of Information Engineering, WTUSM, 129 Luoyu Road, Wuhan, China, 430079)  
According to the characteristic of SAR image noise, the popular filter methods, such as average filter,median filter, Delta filter, Lee adaptive filter and the modified K value adaptive filter are analyzed. This paper proposes a new method to reduce the noise based on average and media adaptive filter. Finally, the experiment results certify the advantages of the method.
