Space Analysis of Steel Anchor Box for Cable-tower Anchorage of Tianjin Baoding Bridge

The Tianjin Baoding Bridge is a single-cable-plane steel box cable-stayed Bridge with single-column Pylon.Steel anchor box structure was used in the cable-tower anchorage zone.According to brick finite element analysis,a whole-process simulation analysis of the stress state and distribution is implemented.The tight relations between the bearing plate and the setting plate of the steel anchor box was simulated by nonlinear contacts method.The results show that,under the worst load compounding conditions,the stress distribution of the steel anchor box is reasonable,the cable force transfers fluently,and the carrying capacity satisfies the requirement.The configuration measures for amending the mechanical behavior of anchorage zone were proposed finally.
