Investigation on Anti-cracking Ability of Mortar with High Volume Steel Slag Powder

To reduce the volume shrinkage of mortar and improve its anti-cracking performance,30% and 50% portion of ultra-fine steel slag powder was separately added to replace cement and prepare mortar,at the same time,fiber was also added.The compressive strength,flexure strength,and volume shrinkage performances of the mortar specimens were investigated.And the anti-cracking performance of the mortar was also researched using flat test method.The results show that the admixture of ultra-fine steel slag powder and fiber could effectively reduce the volume shrinkage of mortar and improve its anti-cracking performance.
