Hydroisomerization Properties of Platinum-like Tungsten Carbide Catalyst

The platinum-like tungsten carbide mixture and composite catalysts,and platinum plus SAPO-11 molecular sieves catalyst were prepared.Their n-hexadecane hydroisomerization properties were studied.Results showed that the catalytic activity of WC(20%)/SAPO-11 mixture catalyst was slightly larger than that of Pt(0.5%)/SAPO-11,but that of WC(10%)-SAPO-11 and WC(20%)-SAPO-11 composite catalysts were less than Pt(0.5%)/SAPO-11.The production rate and selectivity of n-hexadecane hydroisomerization for WC(10%)-SAPO-11 and WC(20%)-SAPO-11 composite catalysts were both larger than that of WC(20%)/SAPO-11 mixture catalyst,but all of them were much less than that of Pt(0.5%)/SAPO-11.
