Stability Evaluation and Application of High Steep Slope in Excavation

As result of the current status about the high steep slope using a simple design of the general limit equilibrium method for slope stability evaluation,one means of numerical simulation is used to analyze the slope's stability of the high steep highway cut slope during the excavation process,taking the high steep slope of Guang-He Highway as engineering background.First,the slope stability that excavated without support and excavated with supporting timely is compared to analyze.Second,the danger construction stage of the slope's excavation process is determined.Third,the effectiveness and the requirement of timely support for slope is represented.Finally,the optimization steps of slope's construction are to propose.Analysis show that the finite element method can be realized to the optimal design about the slope's construction process which stage excavation with reinforcement,and then the anchorage support structures could effectively improve the force states and the plastic deformation features of the slope's rock and soil masses.
