Application of Artificial Neural Network to Surface Runoff Prediction

In order to predict the surface runoff exactly,a back-propagation(BP) neural networks model is developed for daily runoff simulation.BP neural network model is applied to the upper area of Nangao Reservoir in Shanwei City of Guangdong Province.The results show that the artificial neural network can improve the predicting precision;and it has widespread applicable foreground.
