Study of Universal Method for Fault Computation in Electric Power System

A new universal method for fault computation in electric power system is presented.The method is suitable to all kinds of simple faults and complicated faults.This method need not consider fault port is horizontal or vertical,and the connection of sequence networks is serial or parallel;a modified admittance matrix that is derived out by fault conditions superimposes prefault sequence networks.The method also solves the problem of transformer ratio and transformer phase shifts.The method is simple,universal,and suitable to the large scale power grid fault computation.
