A Study of PTS Algorithm for PAPR of OFDM Reduction and FPGA Implementation

OFDM is a technique of multicarrier transmission,which has a good prospect in wireless communication.However,OFDM has a disadvantage:large peak-to-average power ratio.This paper mainly focuses on the study of the peak-to-average power ratio of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing reduction algorithm of partial Transmit Sequence,research PAPR performance,and propose a low-complexity of traditional PAPR using m-sequence PTS approaches,and prove the algorithm workable using MATLAB simulation.The paper proposes a design scheme which will be implemented in FPGA,the results show that the scheme can complete the reduction of peak-to-average power ratio performance perfectly.
