Design and Implementation on Network-based Embedded Intelligent Pro-node based on IEEE 1451 Standard

This paper presents a problem to multi- sensor system for the embedded OS and network - based intelligent pro- node with special emphasis on standardized transducer interface and open network communication. To realize and enhance the field information process ability of device maintenance, the conception and prototype of IDP (Intelligent Data Pro- node) is proposed. Based on the IEEE 1451 networked smart transducer interface standard and network, DSP, ARM and HPI communication tech- nology, a design of network- based intelligent pro- node is intro- duced. The HWSW structure and the network interface are dis- cussed. To meet the demands of high reliability, networking and intelligence of system is also presented. Experiments show good performance of both network- based intelligent pro- node and re- al- time capability of the system.
