Design of data recorder of shock wave generated by underwater explosions

This paper explains the conception and characterization of shock wave generated by underwater explosions firstly.With the application of blast theory,wave simulation function and expressions are figured out.Then,on the basis of the characterization of shock wave and measuring principles of the data recorder,two measuring methods for simulating actual shock wave are introduced in the pa- per.By doing a simple underwater explosion experiment,we can gain pressure- time curve and parameters of the shock wave and com- pare them with values in theory.Finally,via linear fit and error analyses,it is proved that these shock wave pressure measuring meth- ods mentioned in the paper are scientific and valid.
