Reactive power compensation system of TSC based on fuzzy control

In this paper, study and analyze the basic principles of the TSC and its’ nine-zone controlling method, point out the defects of the nine-zone controlling method. With the help of reactive power control of the practical experience, research the controller of the TSC dynamic reactive power compensation system based on fuzzy control. In the fuzzy system, the controller structure is twoinput and single-output. The voltage-reactive power plane was divided into a fuzzy area by the fuzzy inference system, so as to reduce the shocks of the adjacent running point because of the small changes in measurement and the unnecessary capacitance switching or voltage regulator. The simulation model of fuzzy control system is established by the MATLAB software, the results show the effectiveness of the algorithm, increasing the stability of the system, reducing the number of the action of capacitors.
