A Review on Pixelizing of Social Statistical Data

MA Jing1, JIAO Wen-xian2 (1.College of Geography and Environmental Science, Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou Gansu 730070; 2.Laboratory of Watershed Hydrology and Ecology, CAREERI, CAS , Lanzhou Gansu 730001)
Pixelizing of social statistical data is a key content of "Digital Earth",and also the hotspot of the geography and social science. This article summarizes the research of Pixelizing of social statistical data, concludes the crucial questions of this problem, points out the current progress of the content and the technique, On this basis, the existing problems of the problem were put forward. And the article proposes to link the GIS、RS、GPS and social investigation, and perfecting the database of the pixelizing of social statistical data, besides construct comprehensive theoretical system.
