Wastewater Treatment in Constructed Reed Bed Systems

As a low-cost and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment method, constructed reed bed systems have become popular and are being increasingly used in many countries. This paper briefly introduced the classification, treatment mechanisms and current design criteria of reed bed systems. The future research directions of this technique are also discussed.
