The Lower Ordovician carbonate reservoirs of the Tahe oilfield mainly develope plenty of fractures and cavities.Based on observation and analysis of logging data and rock cores data, five types of carbonate reservoirs are distinguished.Using the response characters of GR,Rd,Rs,AC,DEN and CNL,a discrimination model with neural network algorithm is built. The discrimination results with more than thirty wells of the area confirm that the technique is feasible and brings good prediction effect.
