Development of psychology in the field of physical education

Motivation in physical education class,mental characteristics in physical activities,and cognition in motor learning are three main topics of research in psychology of physical education at the beginning of 21 century. Ego,achievement goal,cognition in motor learning,cooperative learning,and mental health of teachers in physical education are some of new trends in research of psychology of physical education in (China.) Related research articles have been published since 2000,applied research has increased and theoretical explores have been deepened. However,the research level of cognitive psychology in motor learning,(theoretical) base,experimental design,test of tool,and research control should be improved.
