Study of effects of physical exercise on physical self-concept of university students in Hongkong

To examine the effects of physical exercise on physical self-concept of university students in Hongkong,the physical self-description questionnaire was administered to 56 university students in Hongkong before and after an execution on 6 weeks physical exercise.Results indicated that the scores of males in 3 scales,activity,sports competence and overall physical self-concept,had been improved significantly after 6 weeks physical exercise;whereas the scores of female in 8 scales,coordination,activity,sports competence,overall physical self-concept,appearance,strength,endurance/fitness and overall self-esteem had been improved significantly after 6 weeks physical exercise.
