Analysis on Time-delay Jitter from Parabolic Antenna and Its Countermeasures

The parabolic antenna is an important component of the satellite ground station equipment,which is used to receive and transmit the time synchronization signal.It is also an important equipment for pseudo-range measurements,thus stringent requirement is proposed on its time-delay stability characteristics.Against the phenomenon of time-delay instability due to the parabolic antenna during the tracking of satellite signal,a series of troubleshooting is launched.The experiment results show that rotary joint and the connection form of the feed line are the factors affecting the antenna's time-delay stability.Finally,the countermeasures are proposed to solve the phenomenon of time-delay instability.
