The Impact of Micro-credit on Personal Consumption in the Internet Age

As a new means of credit, the Internet micro-credit not only enjoys exceptional advantages and extensive applications, but also brings a huge impact on people's life, including change of spending habits, transformation from offline consumption to online consumption, less consumption with credit cards and excessive consumption etc. Meanwhile, the online micro-credit has some disadvantages restricting consumer market. To improve a long-term healthy development of Internet micro-credit, this paper proposes the following suggestions: on the basis of improving relevant laws and regulations, cross-platform data be integrated; the advantages of cross-platform be taken to control risks;and micro-credit loans be applied to more purposes.
