Reflections and Suggestions on ESP Instruction

By using principles of ESP instruction such as needs analysis, authenticity?and student-centered way, the author analyses the situation of ESP instruction nowadays and finds out some problems. Hereby, suggestions have been proposed in terms of the place of ESP instruction in College English language teaching, course design, material development and teaching methodology to improve the practice of ESP instruction in our university and the others as well.
