Analysis of the Thermal Stress for Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP)

According to the linear bond-slip relation between the reinforced bar and concrete,the calculation model and the equilibrium differential equations are established for the analysis of the thermal stress in CRCP,and the analytic solution is derived.The numerical analysis is done to show the stress and deformation state in CRCP and to explain the influence of the crack spacing,the steel percentage and the reinforcement style on the thermal stress.The formula is provided to calculate the stress and displacement of concrete and steel bar at critical position under the temperature load.It can be concluded that using the method in this paper,the thermal stress of CRCP can be analyzed effectively.
