THE SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF Bi(Ⅲ)、Cu(Ⅱ)、Co(Ⅱ) AND Ni(Ⅱ) BY THE PARTIAL LEASTSQUARES METHOD

Bi(Ⅲ)?Cu(Ⅱ)?Co(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ)can form stable complexes with 2-(diethylamino)phonol(3,5-Br2-PADAP)in HCOOH-HCOONa buffer solution, and the absorption spectra overlap seriously. The simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of trace Bi(Ⅲ)?Cu(Ⅱ)?Co(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ) in the simulation samples was successfully made by using partial least squares method. The results show that partialleastsquares are an excellent multivariate statiscal method suited to determine simultaneously trace components without preliminary separation.
