An Analysis of Stopage of Hydroelectric Generating Set by Accident and Research on the Fault Diagnosis Expert System

In this paper, the fault trees for the hydroelectric generating set are configured, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the fault trees is carried out, the results of logical and quantitative analysis are obtained, and the simplification and equivalence of the fault trees are disussed. According to the model of the fault trees, a real time fault diagnosis expert system of hydroelectric generating set with on line fault data collection is established. Also, the establishment of knowledge library and knowledge expression method of the expert system are described.
