Aim To research the fossils of Equus cf.przewalskii from south bank of Juehe river,Xi′an,Shaanxi province,China. Methods Using the classical geology methods including formation analysis, measuring and comparing with other locality fossils. Results The fossils were collected from the lower gravel layer of theⅠterrace at south bank of Juehe river. The condyle is strongly tilted to backward, and the lower teeth have U-shaped linguaflexids and long ectoflexids that penetrate into the isthmuses. The upper teeth have weak pli caballine. On the lower teeth, the parastylid is sharp and narrow, and the metastylid is narrow and long. Conclusion The fossils are identical in major character with Equus przewalskii.Meanwhile their some features are similar with the Equus caballus. So,they are identified to be the Equus cf.przewalskii and their age is about 10 kaBP.
