Theoretical analysis on the technics of temperature measurement precision with infrared thermal imager

Based on the principles of thermal radiation and temperature measurement with infrared ther- mal imager,a general computing formula of the true surface temperature of a measured object is given in order to increase the veracity and precision of a measure result.The aspects are expatiated which affect the precision of temperature measurement but are liable to be ignored in the course of temperature meas- urement with infrared thermal imager.Solutions therewith are also given.
