Optimization of ultrasonic-microwave extraction process of flavonoids from purslane by response surface methodology

The response surface methodology was used according to the principle of central composite design on the basis of single factor test,and the optimum extraction process parameters were obtained by the software of Design Expert as follows:the ethanol volume fraction was85%,the extracting time 40 min,and the liquid solid ratio 1:25.Under these conditions,the value of flavone extraction yield was 10.363 8mg/g,which approximates the predicted value10.370 3mg/g.The results indicate that the response surface methodology can be used to optimize the ultrasonic-microwave assisted extraction process of flavonoids from purslane and the optimized extraction process parameters can be offered as a reference for industrial production of flavonoids from purslane.
