Objective:To study the effects of resveratrol on brain edema and ultramicrostructure of rats with brain trauma. Methods: Feeney's method was used to establish the brain injury model of rats.We measured the change of water content and observed the ultramicrostructure of brain tissue after the administration of resveratrol(50 mg/kg,ip).Results:After the administration of resveratrol, the water content decreased significantly, the destruction of ultramicrostructure diminished. Conclusion:Resveratrol has neuroprotective effects on the traumatic brain.
