Application of Ground Penetrating Radar in Testing Deep Diseases in Surrounding Rock of Tunnel

As an advanced and effective technology of nondestructive testing,the ground penetrating radar(GPR) is developed and applied broadly in Chinese engineering field.Based on the working principle of GPR,a method is presented to test the deep diseases in the surrounding rock of the tunnel.In the testing,the technology of GPR have many merits,such as nondestructive,directviewing,celerity,high-precision and high-resolution and so on.According to the results of the testing,the geological structure deep in the surrounding rock is determined,and the bad geology body found.
