Resistance of Populus spp. to Anoplophora nobilis Ganglbauer

Describes the difference in resistance of Populus spp. to Anoplophora nobilis Ganglbaucer. The Leuce Duby series,e. g. P. × tomentosa Carr., P. hopeiensis Hu et Chow., etc, are resistant to the pest and the Aigeriros Duby series, e. g. Tacamahaca Spach and some hybrid poplars, e. g. P.× euramer icana cv. 'Eugenei', P. ? euramer icana cv. ' I-214, P.eura-mericana (Poda cv. 'I-214') P. pekinensis, P. × dakuanensis Hsu., etc, are sensitve to the pest. An order of resistance to Anoplophora nob-ilis Ganglbaucer. of 30 species of Populus was proposed.
