Modern Biological Technology and Progrees in Insect Taxonomy Study

Modern biological technology and molecular biology play a very important role in entomotaxonomy ,especially in insect molecular systematics. With the help of these new techniques, insect molecular systematics have made a great progress .This paper reports many kinds of modern biological technology being widely used in study of entomotaxonomy, including EST isozymes,RFLP,RAPD,PCR,DNAfp,nucleic acid sequence analysis,probe hybridization and mRNA differential display, etc.This review showed that the insect molecular systematic combined with many kinds of modern biological technology will be one of the most important subjects in the near future.
