Genetic Analysis of the Main Agronomic Characters of Hybrid Parent in Brassica napus L.

LI Shao-qin, WANG Jun-sheng, ZHANG Wen-xue, TIAN Jian-hua and LI Dian-rong(Hybrid Rapeseed Research Center of Shaanxi Province ,Dali 715105,China)  
The GCA and SCA and hereditary parameter of ten agronomic characters were studied with five double-low rapeseed male sterile lines and four restorers which were bred by ourselves, according to the design of diallel cross. The results showed that:① The male sterile line S_2and S_1are better, the restorer R_2 and R_4 are better, the SCA value of the combination S_1×R_3 is the highest; ② The additive variation was principal in the No. of primary branches, pods of primary branches, effective pods per plant, yield per plant;③ The GCA and SCA effects were independent in the main quantitative characters each other, which suggested that it was essential to testcross extensively in the selection of high-yield combination using the parents with higher GCA.
