Inhibition and Control Effects of Garlic Bulb Crude Extracts on Botrytis cinerea in Tomato

The effects of garlic bulb crude extracts on Botrytis cinerea control in tomato were studied.The results showed that the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) is 60.00 mg/mL.When the concentration of garlic bulb crude extracts increased to 60.00 mg/mL,the inhibitive rate to spore germination reached 98.15%;when the concentration of garlic bulb crude extracts increased to 120.00 mg/mL,the inhibitive rate to mycelia growth,the preventive effect and curative effect on disease in tomato leaves in vitro reached 100.00%,92.77% and 88.56%,respectively.In conclusion,the garlic bulb crude extracts are effective to inhibit Botrytis cinerea in tomato.
