Physiological and Biochemical Effects of Heat and Humidity Stress on Chrysanthemum morifolium

In order to study the physiological and biochemical effects of heat and humidity stress on chrysanthemum and provide the basis for the selection of ground-cover chrysanthemum,the ground-cover chrysanthemum varieties Jingqi,Wanfen,Chongbanzaohuang,Fanbailu,Meiaifen,Pudifendai,Xiangfei,Jinguangwanzhang,Mibaizao and Chrysanthemum nanjingense,Chrysanthemum lavandulifolium var.seticuspe,Crossostephium chinense were used as plant materials.All the materials were treated under 40 ℃,air humidity 90%±5% and soil moisture 100%.Then wilting index,chlorophyll and relative permeability of cell membrane of leaves were determined.According to the study results,the materials were divided into five levels(from high tolerance to low tolerance): JingqiCrossostephium chinense,Pudifendai,Chrysanthemum nanjingenseChongbanzaohuang,Mibaizao,XiangfeiMeiaifen,Chrysanthemum lavandulifolium var.seticuspe,JinguangwanzhangFanbailu and Wanfen.
