Comparison of Evaluating Methods for Agronomic Drought Resistance in Crops

Lan Jusheng (Hebei Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Shijiazhuang 050051)  
Five evaluating methods of agronomic drought resitance in wheat were investigated to examine the effect of the evaluation.The results indicate that drought susceptibility ( S )and relative yield decrease index increase a constant as compared with drought resistance coefficient. (S),(1-Y d/Y p),(Y d/Y P) are correlative completely. The superiority measure( P )may be regarded as the MS of the joint effect of G and GE.but its suitability for evaluating drought resistance needs further experiment.Drought resistance index DI=Y d/Y P×Y d/Y md were accepted by agronomic researchers of several provinces.
