Studies on the Part of Quality Properties of Hybrid Wheat Cultivars

In this paper,some quality properties of high heterosis hybrid wheat se-lected from 6 combinations of three new types of male sterile lines were studied with thelocal released good qualty wheat cultivars as the control ,and the quality properties ofhigh heterosis hybrid wheat were also analysed.The results indicated that there weredifferences in quality properties of hybrid wheat becatise of different combinations. Theaverage value of 6 hybrid wheat grain properties vvere colse to that of wheat variefies inthe control.The test weight of hybrid wheat in some combinations was slightly lowerthan that of some quality wheat varieties in the control. As far as the protein and wetgluten contents are concerned ,the protein and wet gluten contents in some combinationsare colse to or higher than those of the average of good quality wheat varieties. The re-sults of bread baking tests also indicated that the quality properties of some hybridwheats such as Ven type hybride wheat──93F8328,were fairly protruding outstand-ing.
