A series of C/C-SiC composites have been produced by immersion and pyrolysis method in the condition of vacuum and additive pressure using different porosity carbon-carbon composites as perform,a certain mass percent of maceration extract using polycarbosilane as pre-ceramic and xylene as solution.The friction and wear properties of materials have been studied by friction test.The effect of different initial density and ingredient content on friction and wear properties was analyzed in detail.The result shows that,with the increasing of the perform density,the average friction coefficient,friction moment increases while the braking time,braking temperature and linear wear decrease.Friction and wear properties of C/C-SiC composites relate close-knit to initial density of perform.The sample whose perform initial density is 1.47 g·cm-3 is suitable for braking materials.
