Studies on the Characteristics of Chlorine Absorption Accumulation and Distribution in High-Yielding Winter Wheat

Tian Qizhuo (Agronomy Department, Shandong Agricultural University, Taian, 271018)
The dynamic law of chlorine concentration, the differences among cultivars and years, the dynamic law of chlorine absorption and accumulation, the absorption intensity and absorption proportion of chlorine in different development period of high yielding winter wheat plants were studied in 1991~ 1994 with several varieties. The results show, the absorption in tensity of chlorine maximized from jointing to flag stage, the highest value of chlorine accumula tion was at the filling stage. In the mature stage, the accumulation content decreased by 9.51% , compaired with the highest value. The absorption amount of chlorine per 100 kg of biological yield was 0. 74kg and 1.57kg of chlorine per 100kg grain yield. The concentration and distribu tion proportion of chlorine in 20 parts of various organ in mature were studied.
