Design of drive circuit for 100 W wind-solar complementary LED street lamp

With the promotion of energy saving and environmental protection products,the wind-solar complementary LED street lamp has entered people's vision by the aid of its unique advantages. The combination of wind-solar complementation and LED street lamp evoked a great challenge for the design of LED driver circuit. The DC/DC LED drive controller with simple switching tube cannot reach very high power,and can not realize the functon of output short circuit protection though it can meet the power supply requirements currently. In order to achieve output short circuit protection and high power,a 4- switch Buck-Boost DC / DC LED driver controller based on LT3791 was designed in this paper. This circuit can be powered by 12/24 V storage battery,whose output power can be up to 100 W,constant current precision can reach ± 6%,efficiency can be up to 98.5% and output can reach 50 V/2 A. This design was tested. It satisfied the design requirements and the night lighting needs in real life.
