Basic principles,strategy and perspective for combinatorial catalysis

QI Sui-tao, YANG Bo-lun, ZHUO Ying (Department of Chemical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an 710049, China)  
The basic concepts,general principles of combinatorial catalysis and the strategy of the high throughout screening methods of catalysts library were introduced.The influences of the synthetic methods of catalysts library and high speed screening techniques,which in the study of catalysis,are the two key points of combinatorial catalysis,were discussed.The latest progress for the utilization of the combinatorial catalytic technology in inorganic,organic and biology fields were reviewed.It was pointed out that the discovery and optimization of catalysts,the development of novel synthetic technology and new screening scheme with the help of computer were trends of the combinatorial catalysis.
