Effect of lanthanum addition on reaction properties of PtSnNa/Al_2O_3 catalyst for propane dehydrogenation

Lanthanum modified PtSnNaLa/Al_2O_3 catalyst was prepared for propane dehydrogenation.The results indicated that the addition of La had obvious influence on the catalytic performance of PtSnNa/Al_2O_3 catalyst and the yield of propene was able to reach maximum when the additional mass content of La was 0.7%.However,the excess amount of La is disadvantageous to the reaction.The synergetic effect of La~(3+) and Na~+ could prevent the support from coking effectively.
