Preparation and catalytic activity of double peroviskites oxide La_2BSnO_6(B=Cu、Ni) material

DAI Ying-ying,HU Rui-sheng,YANG Zhong-ping(Key Laboratory of Chemistry and Physics of Rare Earths Materials,College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Inner Mongolia University,Huhhot 010021,China)  
La-B-Sn-O(B=Cu、Ni) catalysts is prepared by backflow-sol-gel method using citric acid as complexing agent.The two samples have been characterized by XRD,TPR and BET.The samples' catalytic activity has been tested in methane combustion.The results show that the La-Cu-Sn-O system forms pyrochlore-type La2Sn2O7 and double peroviskites oxide La2CuSnO6 two-phases,and the main phase of the La-Ni-Sn-O system is La2NiSnO6,following little La2Sn2O7 phase.Comparing the two samples,La-Ni-Sn-O system has a good catalytic activity in methane combustion,which T10(methane conversion of 10%) and T90(methane conversion of 90%) are 486℃ and 694℃,respectively.
