Study on the Anti-floating Options for a Metro Station by Means of Invert Arch

Considering a Guangzhou metro station,four anti-floating options were raised,namely: floor thickening,anti-uplift piles,anchor bolts as well as invert arch plus anchor bolts,while the last option was newly put forward.The four options were analyzed through theoretical analysis and software simulation.Results indicated,the anti-floating option of invert arch with anchor bolts was the best one in that bending moments in the floor plate were minimum and uniformly distributed,displacement of the floor was minimum,i.e.,the bottom heave was minimum.
