Research Development and Application of Reduction Synthesis In Inorganic Materials

Carbon thermal reduction,magnesium thermal reduction and aluminum thermal reduction techniques are used broadly in synthesis of inorganic materials.Using these reduction techniques could synthesis advanced materials such as carbides,borides,nitrides,metals and their composites.Self-propagating high-temperature reduction synthesis(SHS Reduction)is an advanced,simple,time and cost-saving method to make advanced materials.The main techniques applied are magnesium thermal reduction SHS and aluminium thermal reduction SHS.The paper explicated the research development and applications of tradition reduction and SHS reduction techniques in synthesis of inorganic materials.
