[Objective]To evaluate the effect of propofol intravenous anesthesia on hemorheology and hemodynamics changes in elderly patients with colorectal cancer.[Methods]60 cases of patient proposed with laparoscopic radical operation were given the propofol intravenous anesthesia.Induction of anesthesia:midazolam 0.04 mg·kg-1,fentanyl 2 μg·kg-1,atracurium 0.8mg·kg-1,propofol 1.5 mg·kg-1.Maintenance of anesthesia:propofol 50-150 μg·kg-1·min-1,atracurium 1-2μg·kg-1·min-1,remifentanil 0.1-0.2 μg·kg-1·min-1.The hemorheology and hemodynamics changes were recorded before anesthesia(T0),after induction of anesthesia and intubation(T1),10min before the end of surgery(T2)and extubation after surgery(T3).[Results]Compared with the value of hemorheology at T0,the Hηb,Mηb and Lηb were significantly decreased at T1-T3,the difference was significant(P﹤0.05);The SBP,DBP and HR were significantly different at T1-T2,compared with the value of hemodynamics at T0,the difference was significant(P﹤0.05).The SBP,DBP,HR basically reached the baseline level at T3,compared with the value of hemodynamics at T0 and the difference was no significant(P﹥0.05).[Conclusion]The propofol intravenous anesthesia can reduce blood viscosity. It is little effect on hemodynamics and an ideal method of anesthesia for elderly patients with colorectal cancer.
